about SANDOITCHI: inspired by the sando (japanese for "sandwich") commonly found at convenience stores in japan, sandoitchi is a dallas-based, chef-driven concept serving gourmet fare, using high-quality, locally-sourced ingredients. founded in 2020 as an experimental pop-up during the pandemic, the brand gained critical acclaim and cult status during a series of pop-ups, one-day food trucks, and flash offerings. driving its culinary direction is chef stevie nguyen (japanese restaurant pedigree of uchi, morimoto and momofuko).
